Anti-SARS protesters today paralysed business activities in Lagos.

Reacting to question by our correspondent on why they continue with the protest despite ban by Federal Government, two of them who in separate interview simply identified him as John and a lady Jumoke said “since this is not first time, we want PMB to come out to address us.

In 2017, 2018, in 2019 they deceived us by banning SARS but released them when tension died down. But this time around we want holistic action by PMB. If we don’t protest now, they will release them when tension has died down.”
SARS are the official thugs of government which they use in terrorising Nigerians.

Chanting against government, the alleged that SARs are government’s trained thugs of Nigeria being used in terrorising innocent Nigerians.

Another respondent that simply called himself Akinjobi said, “We are protesting because we don’t want revival of SARs again as experience has shown that politicians are using them to suppress anybody that dare speak against government.”
