MFM 2024: OUR YEAR OF OPEN DOORS & DIVINE SPEED

MEMORY VERSE: 2 Chronicles 20.22-23: And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah;  and they were smitten.  For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
WHAT YOU DO AND WHERE YOU GO WHEN CONFRONTED BY PROBLEM IS A POINTER TO THE DEGREE OF YOUR SPIRITUALITY.

25 JUNE PROPHETIC WORD:
You shall not be swallowed up by the challenges of life, in the of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: 2 Chronicles 20:1-6, 10-13 {KJV}
It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.

2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.

3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

4 And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the Lord: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord, before the new court,

6 And said, O Lord God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

VERSE 10 -13

10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;

11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.

12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

13 And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

PRAISE & WORSHIP:
Lord, your church on earth is seeking
power and wisdom from above:
teach us all the art of speaking
with the accents of your love.
We will heed your great commission
sending us to every place-
‘Go, baptize, fulfil my mission;
serve with love and share my grace!’

2 You release us from our bondage,
lift the burdens caused by sin;
give new hope, new strength and courage,
grant release from fears within.
Light for darkness, joy for sorrow,
love for hatred, peace for strife-
these and countless blessings follow
as the Spirit gives new life.

3 In the streets of every city
where the bruised and lonely live,
we will show the saviour’s pity
and his longing to forgive.
In all lands and with all races
we will serve, and seek to bring
all the world to render praises
Christ, to you, redeemer king.

TUESDAY 25 JUNE MESSAGE:
King Jehoshaphat was faced with the greatest crisis of his life when three nations rose up against him.

Naturally, he was afraid but he channelled his fear positively by seeking the face of God on what to do.  He declared a fast for all his people, confessed his helplessness, obeyed God’s leading and put his trust in His word.

He had confidence in God’s ability to deliver him because he knew God has power over all people and situations. He knew God has always been faithful to His people in times past and present. He recognized that God’s people are helpless without Him.

Jesus said in John 15:5, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me, you can do nothing.”

Jehoshaphat remembered God’s promises as a sure foundation for faith. Also, he knew that God’s active presence among His people means deliverance and victory, so he trusted God for victory. God gave him unusual strategy for the battle. He told him to put out an array of praise singers. He did and God gave him victory.

Are you faced with some overwhelming battles and you feel like just ending it all? Is there an embarrassing situation that you feel like the ground should open and swallow you up? Are there gangups and evil conspiracies that seem to be no way out? Do you feel caged in by your present situation and circumstance?

Rise up today, call upon God in earnest prayer and fasting. Remember, our Lord Jesus Christ Himself said in Matthew 17:21; “However this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

God will give you a divine strategy that will discomfit your enemies and you will sing the song of victory, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING:

1) Every evil conspiracy against my life, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

2) Satanic gang up against my destiny, receive contusion and scatter, in the name of Jesus.
