MFM 2024: OUR YEAR OF OPEN DOORS & DIVINE SPEED

PRAISE & WORSHIP:
Blessed be the Fountain of blood,
To a world of sinners revealed;
Blessed be the dear Son of God –
Only by His stripes we are healed.
Tho I’ve wandered far from His fold,
Bringing to my heart pain and woe,
Wash me in the blood of the Lamb,
And I shall be whiter than snow.

Chorus:
Whiter than the snow,
Whiter than the snow,
Wash me in the blood of the Lamb,
And I shall be whiter than snow.

2 Thorny was the crown that He wore,
And the cross His body o’ercame;
Grievous were the sorrows He bore,
But He suffered thus not in vain.
May I to that Fountain be led,
Made to cleanse my sins here below;
Wash me in the blood that He shed,
And I shall be whiter than snow. [Chorus]

3 Father, I have wandered from Thee,
Often has my heart gone astray;
Crimson do my sins seem to me—
Water cannot wash them away.
Jesus, to the Fountain of Thine,
Leaning on Thy promise, I go;
Cleanse me by Thy washing divine,
And I shall be whiter than snow. [Chorus]

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalms 57, Psalms 58, Psalms 59; 1 Corinthians 14, 1 Corinthians 15

MEMORY VERSE: Acts 12:11
“And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand Herod, and from all the expactation of the people of the Jaws.”

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE;
The storm may appear so fierce, but if we hold on to the end, we shall enter into the realm of celebration.

27 JUNE PROPHETIC WORD:
You will not sink with that problem but come out with muliple celebration, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE; Acts 12:1-10
Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.

And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.

And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

THUR 27 JUNE MESSAGE:
The early church, especially the Apostles faced intense persecution from the Jews. They were frequently cast into prison for no justifiable reason, but that they were preaching and healing in the name of Jesus.

Nevertheless, God always manifested His power by miraculously delivering them from such unjust captivities.

On a particular instance, Herod already caught and killed James, the brother af John. The Jews were happy, so he caught Peter too, put him in prison because it was Easter. He wanted to bring him out after Easter for judgement and possible execution.

Peter’s life was in jeopardy but he refused to be bothered, Rather, he did the best thing he could have done in the circumstance. He left the situation to God, trusted and rested his case in Him absolutely. Though bound with chains and sandwiched between two soldiers, Peter slept like a baby.

However, the church was busy interceding for him ceaselessly and God sent an angel to deliver him.

Beloved, what kind of captivity have you suddenly found yourself? Is it physical, spiritual, financial, material, career, marital, etc.? Are you reading this devotional from a physical prison indeed?

It does not matter how long you have been there, if only you can commit and dedicate your life to Christ, repent of whatever sin that got you in there, no matter how small or great it may be, and ask for God’s mercy. Believe and trust God absolutely for your deliverance, He will miraculously deliver you and you will come out to testify to the goodness of God in the land of the living.

The Bible says that you should cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never suffer the righteous to be moved. Call on God day and night and He will turn your challenges to testimonies, in the name of Jesus.
