FIRE SCRIPTURE: Luke 18:1-8 (KJV)

1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

THE SPIRIT OF REVIVAL TO PRAY THROUGH SHALL COME UPON YOU TODAY, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

6/9/23 MESSAGE:

Yesterday, it was established that Christians should pray because it is needed to maintain and sustain their new divine nature. Only as you pray, can your life become what God wants it to be. It is only when you pray that you can discover the secret of overcoming sin and the power that the enemy is using.

Then also, your Christian service shall become what it ought to be. Why should we pray? We owe it to others to pray on their behalf. We can exercise amazing power through our intercessory prayers for our loved ones. As we think of the needs, the human sufferings, the present hardship and corruption around us, it is an obligation to pray for God’s gracious relief, deliverance and intervention.

Also, through our intercession, souls in need of salvation will be saved. Samuel is a biblical example of a great intercessor. He said, “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way” (1 Samuel 12:23).

You and I should embrace the ministry of intercession. It is a loving act to pray for and on behalf of your loved ones. We need to pray to overcome territorial powers that are always on the prowl to block and stop good things in the lives of people.

We need to overcome the Prince of Persia who hindered Daniel from receiving God’s response to his prayers for 21days until there was divine intervention (Daniel 10:10-13). Why did Daniel continue to pray? It was because he was yet to receive the answer he sought. If he had stopped, the miracle he was seeking for would have died a still birth.

Beloved of the Lord, we must pray to sustain and maintain what we have as well as what we have received so that we will not lose them. You cannot afford to close your mouth and remain silent if and when it appears no answer is coming from heaven.

Keep praying until something happens. Your prayer power will destabilise and overpower blockers of answers to prayer, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1 O God, arise and give me a mouth of fire, in the name of Jesus.

2. Power to pray and to receive, fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.

3. Powers assigned to weaken my prayer altar, scatter, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Thou spirit of weariness at the altar of prayer, get out and die, in the name of Jesus.

5. Spirit of slumber, leave my life alone and die, in the name of Jesus.

6. Spirit of revival fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.

7. Power of the Holy Ghost, let my voice matter in heaven, in the name of Jesus.
