Welcome to MFM Devotional, 19—12—23

PRAISE & WORSHIP:

“Called in to holiness,” Church of our God

1 “Called unto holiness,” Church of our God,
Purchase of Jesus, redeemed by His blood;
Called from the world and its idols to flee,
Called from the bondage of sin to be free.

Chorus:
“Holiness unto the Lord” is our watchword and song,”
“Holiness unto the Lord” as we’re marching along;
Sing it, shout it, loud and long,
“Holiness unto the Lord,” now and forever.

Walking with Jesus in garments of white;

19—12—23 PROPHETIC WORD:
Henceforth, no plague or sickness shall come near your dwelling, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Exodus 15:26-27:
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.

19—12—23 MESSAGE:
We affirmed yesterday that Exodus 15:26 was a covenant of God for His people and that He proved His faithfulness on this covenant by ensuring that the wildemess church never experienced sickness at all in their 40 years’ journey. Therefore, the first assurance of divine health for you is that God will not break His covenant nor alter the thing that has gone out of His lips (Psalm 89:34). Sickness is a product of the fall of man and the curse of the law.

However, Galatians 3:13-14 assures that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse in our stead, for He was hanged on the tree. The Bible says that cursed is whoever is hanged on the tree. Jesus did it that we may have the blessings of Abraham and the promise of the Holy Spirit from God.

3 John 2 reveals the mind of God conceming our health: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospereth.” God wants all-round prosperity for you, even in the area of your health!

Similarly, divine health is God’s good and perfect gift to you as His child (James 1:17).

The Bible affirms that by the stripes of Jesus you were healed. Claim that healing with unwavering faith. When you do this, sickness will have no place to stay in your body, soul and spirit. The Bible says that none of the inhabitants of Zion shall say he is sick. It is a promise you should also claim.

Beloved, you must exercise rock-like faith so as to overcome sickness.

The Bible says that whatsoever is bom of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4). Give no place to satan. If you do, by committing sin, you will open doorways for sickness to plague your life.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4.7). Be violent with the devil and forcefully expel his demons from your life. Proverbs 13:17 says that health is God’s ambassador. Yes, it is! Arise, beloved and tread upon serpents and scorpions of infirmity in your life.

You have a right to live in health. Say no to sickness!

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. I overcome the spirit of sickness and disease, by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

2. I tread upon serpents and scorpions of infirmity, in the name of Jesus.

3. By the stripes of Jesus, I have been healed, sickness, jump out of my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I shall live perpetually in good health and sound mind, in the name of Jesus.

5. I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of God in the land of the living, in the name of Jesus.

6. Covenants and curses promoting sickness in my life, break, in the name of Jesus.

7. I wash my body, soul and spirit with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
