17-8-23 PROPHETIC WORD:
Henceforth, whatsoever you decree according to God’s will, it shall be established for you, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Mark 11:22-24

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

17-8-23 MESSAGE:
Even though inanimate objects have no life in them, they also respond to God’s words. They also have spiritual ears or what we can call a word sensor that makes them responsive. And for the purpose of this study, a ‘mountain’ is anything posing as a difficulty or barrier, and that includes a mountain itself.

You can direct God’s words to a physical, non-living object, and it would respond. Moses divided the Red Sea (Exodus 14:15-23) and got water from the rock (Ex. 17:5-6) using his rod, as instructed by God. Elisha healed the water of Jericho with salt (2 Kings 2:19-22) and with his words, the widow’s oil got multiplied (2 Kings 4:1-7). The sun stood still and the moon stayed in Ajalon, at the command of Joshua (Joshua 10:12-14).

A National Youth Service Corps member once testified how his colleague returned home one day and couldn’t find his room key, and a padlock had been used to lock the door. The corps member simply went to the door, held the padlock and said, “Ephphatha” (Mark 7:32-35). The padlock opened as he pulled it and his colleague was able to enter his room.

It is not only living things that respond to God’s words; non-living things do too. Nothing is too hard for God to do. He controls both the physical and spiritual, both the living and non-living. Everything was created by Him, and so responds to Him.

Your mountain could be your unsold goods, malfunctioning equipment, ATM card, a life- threatening house or piece of land, etc. Crude miracles still happen! So, cheer up! Step up your faith. Walk up to that mountain and speak God’s words to it. You shall return with a testimony!

PRAYER POINTS:-

MORNING

1. Heavenly Father, forgive me in any way I have doubted or belittled Your power, in the name of Jesus.

2. Henceforth, please God with my faith in Him, in the name of Jesus.

3. Toperate in faith and not out of fear, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I discard every mental barrier to my faith in God, in the name of Jesus.

5. Every mountain hindering my physical and spiritual progress, become a plain, in the name of Jesus.

6. O Lord, make a way for me where men say there is no way, in the name of Jesus.

7. You mountain of (mention any challenge) posing as a difficulty to me, I decree that I am more than a conqueror over you. Become resolved, in the name of Jesus.
