PRAISE & WORSHIP:

Jesus only is our message,
Jesus all our theme shall be;
We will lift up Jesus ever,
Jesus only will we see. Jesus only, Jesus ever,

Savior, Sanctifier, and Healer,
Glorious Lord and coming King.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
The call for soul wining is meant to enrich the soul winner. For God to answer your prayers, you must be a soul winner.

17/9/23 PROPHETIC WORD:
The Lord shall find you useful for the advancement of His Kingdom, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE: John 4:35-36

 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

³⁶ And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

17-09-23 MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we learnt that soul winning is the heartbeat of God and that it is integral to His redemption plan. Today, we will continue our discourse on the qualities of an effective soul winner.

The sixth quality you need to be an effective soul winner is to trust in the redeeming power of Christ (Romans 1:16; 1 Timothy 1:16). That power is in the gospel of Christ and the mercy of God.

The seventh quality is that you need to be diligent, persistent and tactful (Proverbs 11:30: Daniel 12:3).

The eighth quality is to be committed and have the ability to deny yourself (1 Corinthians 9:19-27). Self-denial is valuable in God’s service.

The ninth quality is that you should be courageous and passionate. God’s charge to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:17-19, was to be courageous. The reason is that your Royal Master, Jesus Christ, is with you wherever you go to win souls for Him. It was with courage that Elijah confronted the 450 prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, defeated them and turned the hearts of the Israelites back to God.

Courage was also what gave the apostles great harvest of souls in their days. Beloved, I enjoin you to pray these qualities into your life today.

Above all, you must have a personal encounter with the Lord, and pray earnestly for the gift of soul winning; you must allow the Holy Spirit to guide you – and believe God for results. It is yours to sow and the Holy Spirit waters. It is God that gives increase.

In Matthew 4:19, today’s memory verse, Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” He is saying the same thing to you and me today. Soul winning means everything to Him.

Beloved, it is important and highly rewarding to fulfil His mandate in Matthew 28:18-20. As you follow His example and lead souls from death to life, you will have your reward on the Day of the Lord (2 Timothy 4:8).

PRAYER POINTS:

 MORNING

1. Holy Spirit, lead and guide me in soul winning daily, in the name of Jesus.

2. Spirit of rebellion and idolatry in the hearts of men, die, in the name of Jesus.

3. Spirit of backsliding and apostasy, die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. I loose souls from the chains of satan, in the name of Jesus.

5. Holy Spirit, convict sinners and win them for Christ, in the name of Jesus.

6. I will never get tired of soul winning, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God, arise and draw more labourers to Your field for the and-time harvest of souls, in the name of Jesus.
