FIRE SCRIPTURE: John 11:32-45
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled*,

34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.

35 Jesus wept.

36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave*. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 8 MESSAGE:-
What kind of faith can make one to see the glory of God and receive miracles of healing, deliverance and blessings from Him?

First, the faith must be primitive, That is, it must be the kind of faith exercised by patriarchs like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Peter, John and Paul as well as the other heroes of faith in the Bible,

Second, it must be childlike. The faith of a child trusts completely and does not doubt.

Third, it must be unwavering. The Bible affirms anyone who doubts or wavers in faith will not get anything from God (James 1:6-8), If you exercise faith that is primitive, childlike, unwavering and violent, you will see the never-failing hand of our omnipotent God in your situation and your testimony will manifest by tire, in the name of Jesus.

Jesus’ prescription to Mary for solving the seemingly insurmountable problem of her brother’s death and meeting her desire to see him live again was to have faith in God. Faith or courageous trust in the God of all possibilities is the key to having the glorious change, healing, deliverance, spouse, financial breakthrough, fruit of the womb, victory in life’s battles, career and business breakthroughs, and so on.

On one occasion, Jesus asked some menthat came to Him for healing, “Believes! thou that I can do this?’ They said, “Yes, we believe, Lord.’ Jesus ‘ response was, ” Go, thy faith has made you whole.” The Bible records that these men received their healing instantly.

The Bible says that by faith the elders received good reports or testimonies (Hebrews 11:3). Faith in God made Abraham and Sarah to have Isaac, the promise of God in their old age. Faith in God parted the Red Sea and enabled the children of Israel to cross it on dry ground while their enemies perished in the same sea. Faith in God made fire to fall after Elijah’s prayer, discomfiting the Prophets of Baal and turning the heart of Israel back to God.

Faith propelled the Apostles to do exploits in the early church and win the world for Jesus Christ.

Beloved, faith is the key to your victory and all-round fulfillment. With faith in God, your “Lazarus” will rise and live again. So, have faith in God.

PRAYER POINTS:-

MORNING

1. O God, arise and make the impossible possible in my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. I receive the faith that does not fail or waver, in the name of Jesus

.

3. By Your mercy, 0 God, increase my faith today, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Father, give me the faith to fulfil my divine assignment, in the name of Jesus.

5. I overcome unbelief and discouragement, in the name of Jesus.

6. O God, let any “Lazarus” in my life arise, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God, let my unwavering faith in You make me whole, in the name of Jesus
