TOPIC FOR TODAY: 26-7-21: The love for God

But God commendeth his love toward us.

Motivational Quote: Our loving God must be part of our lives. We must acknowledge Him every moment as our most beloved.

Prophetic Word: God shall give you the spirit of revelation and wisdom in Him, in the name of Jesus.

True love for God comes from the heart, because out of the heart comes desire, thoughts, emotion and action. Therefore, true love for God will flow from a pure heart and fill you with the desire to please God.

To show true love for God, you must do the following: You must have reverent fear for Him, evangelise, tell others about this wonderful Father, what He has done, what He is doing and what He is capable of doing.

There are many people out there who need to hear about this wonderful Father; you need to go for such people. That is a wonderful way to show true love for God. It is written, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Let us also make sacrifices for the unsaved. To show true love for God, we must be patient with others. We must trust and love them without conditions.

The Bible says, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” God first loved us and He deserves that we love our fellow men.

By doing this, we are reciprocating His love for us and also making others to know us as followers of Christ. I mean His disciples (John 13:34-35). The Bible also says that you cannot claim to love God who you don’t see but hate your brother who is daily beside you (1John 4:20).

Unfortunately, some people come to church but do not greet their immediate neighbour, and they do not bother about that brother or sister in their fellowship. When last did you show love to someone outside your family? True love for God will make you manifest the attributes of God which others will see and glorify your Father in heaven.

Beloved, are you kind, gentle, patient and tolerant with others? Are you a humble and broken person? If yes, continue to live out the life of God in you by loving others.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. Thou power of love, fall upon me, in the name of Jesus..

2. My Lord and my God, give me a sound mind, in the name of Jesus.

3. Grace to show love to the unlovable, possess my life, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. O Lord, my Father, let Your power for greatness fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.

5. My life, manifest the love of God, in the name of Jesus.v 6. My Father, let Your heaven of glory open unto me, in the name of Jesus.

7. O God of pleasant surprises, help me in every area of my life, in the name of Jesus.

SPECIAL NOTE!

Beloved Reader, the sweetest way to enjoy all-round blessings from God in this Year 2021 is to make Jesus Christ your personal Lord & Saviour.  Remember! the Lord Jesus in John 3:3 says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless ye are born again, ye cannot see the kingdom of God.”
