President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) Comrade Joe Ajaero has finally been released from detention.
Allcitynews.ng confirmed his release from his chief of staff, Comrade Chris Onyeka early hours of Tuesday September 10.
Oyeka said Ajaero was released in the middle of the night, but didn’t say where he was released from.
However, he said the National Executive Council of NLC will meet this morning to take a decision on the arrest and detention of Joe Ajaero.
It would be recalled that Ajaero was arrested on Monday morning by security operatives at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, on his way to the United Kingdom on the invitation of the Trade Union Congress, TUC of the Uk
