Dangote Industries Limited Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with China National Building Materials Group

As part of his efforts to spread the tentacles of the group, the leadership of Dangote Industries Limited has entered into partnership agreement with China National Building Materials.

 

The signing of the agreement with China National Building Materials Group Co. Limited (CNBM) by Dangote industries is part of move for a strategic cooperation agreement.

 

The ceremony, which took place in Lagos, Nigeria on Wednesday  October 2, 2024, was attended by key executives from both companies, including Aliko Dangote, President/CE of Dangote Industries Limited, and Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of CNBM Group.

 

This agreement is expected to foster collaboration and drive growth in the building materials sector.

 

Dangote Industries Limited, a leading conglomerate in Nigeria, has been expanding its operations across various sectors, including cement manufacturing, sugar refining, and fertilizer production.

 

The partnership with CNBM, a renowned Chinese building materials company, will likely enhance Dangote’s capacity to meet the growing demand for building materials in Nigeria and beyond.

The signing ceremony was also attended by President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, Olakunle Alake, Vice President of Dangote Industries Limited, and Zhi Xiao, Assistant to General Manager of CNBM Group and Chairman of China Building Materials.

 

Other executives from both companies were present to witness the historic agreement.

 

Dangote Industries Limited has been at the forefront of Nigeria’s economic development, with significant investments in various sectors.

 

The company’s cement manufacturing arm, Dangote Cement, has been recognized for its outstanding performance, recently rewarding its distributors at an awards night.

 

This partnership with CNBM is expected to further solidify Dangote’s position as a leading player in the building materials sector.

 

While details of the agreement are yet to be disclosed, industry experts anticipate that the partnership will lead to increased production capacity, improved product quality, and enhanced distribution networks.
