Amidst biting hardship and hunger in the country, the leadership of Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria 2025: Germany has announced the readiness for its 10th edition in Lagos, Nigeria as one of the key solutions to curb high coat of food.
The 10th edition of Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria, a premier international trade fair, is set to take place from March 25 to 27, 2025, at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.
This event celebrates a decade of innovation, collaboration, and growth in Nigeria’s agrofood and plastprintpack sectors.
The fair is being organized by fairtrade Messe. The event promises to be even more vibrant than its predecessors, with around 100 leading exhibitors from over 15 countries showcasing tailored products and solutions for the Nigerian market.
The event will also feature official national pavilions from China, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, and South Africa.
Germany has been announced as the Guest of Honour for 2025, reflecting the partnership between Nigeria and Germany.
This designation highlights German expertise in these sectors and provides opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and business development between German and Nigerian stakeholders.
The event will include a comprehensive 3-day conference featuring over 20 sessions and more than 70 speakers.
A special topic for 2025 will focus on Banking & Finance, with keynote speakers, panel discussions, and a dedicated exhibition area for financial institutions.
Nigeria’s technological investments are driving growth in agrofood, plastics, printing, and packaging. With investments in food and packaging technology amounting to €304m in 2023, Nigeria is Africa’s second-largest investor in this sector.
