As part of the seventh anniversary of outstanding enlightenment of the general public through its platform, Marketing Space magazine, said it is set to honour organisations and individuals that have distinguished themselves in brands, marketing and advertising world.
Stressing that the award is in commemoration of the seventh year of
Marketing Space magazine, the publisher, and Chief Executive Officer, Ayobami Lukman Ishau, expressed his delight on the achievements recorded so far by the magazine.
According to him, “Marketing Space magazine, Nigeria’s brand and advertising focused magazine has concluded plans to honour outstanding brands, agencies and practitioners in the Nigeria’s Integrated Marketing Communications industry for their contributions to the industry and consumers.”
The award presentation is will take place on 16th and 17th December, 2021 at the recipients’ offices in Lagos.
Those to receive the honour include, MultiChoice Nigeria, Seven-Up Bottling Company and FoodCo Nigeria. Others are: Weatherheads Ltd, MediaReach OMD, Hill + Knowlton Strategies, Brand Optimal Ltd, Oracle Experience Ltd, New Crystal Communications, DDB Lagos, Route 712, CMC Connect, JC Decaux Nigeria and Leo Burnett Lagos.
Among the practitioners to be honoured include Emeka Okeke, Chief Executive Officer, MediaFuse Dentsu, Kelechi Nwosu, Chief Executive Officer, TBWA Concepts, Temitope Jemerigbe, Chief Executive Officer, DDK & Associates.
Speaking more on the awards, Lukman Ishau, said the award is to appreciate brands, agencies and practitioners who have done so well in the last seven years in the Integrated Marketing Communications industry.
“Marketing Space magazine started operation in the IMC industry seven years ago, since inception, the publication has been consistent in ensuring that the industry is well covered, and we monitor activities of brands, agencies and practitioners hence the need to recognise and appreciate them for their contributions.”
In addition he said the honour is to commemorate the magazine’s seven years anniversary and particularly, to show the gratitude to these organisations for immense support they have extended to the outfit since it began operation in Nigeria.
“We are not in doubt that these awardees truly deserve the honour at this time and we wish to appreciate the immense contributions they have made to the industry in the last seven years”, he said.
According to him, panel consisted of senior colleagues in the industry sat through numerous nominations and eventually found these organizations and individuals deserving the award.
