The new management of NOVA Bank has announced that the goal of the new team of growing and bring development is a task that should and must be done by them.

Even as the bank announced the appointment of new directors in order to achieve its planned goals.

Reiterating their readiness to bring total transformation, the bank said that the newly appointment of the Executive Directors is part of the strategic appointments being put in place to strengthen its leadership team as it continues its innovative journey, following its recent transition to a national commercial bank.

NOVA Bank then announced the appointment of David Isiavwe as Executive Director, Operations and Information Technology, and Chinwe Iloghalu as Executive Director, Institutional and Commercial Banking.

Dr. David Isiavwe brings over 30 years of banking experience, with a Ph.D. in Accounting and fellowships from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Compliance Institute of Nigeria (FCIN).

His extensive certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).

Dr. Isiavwe has attended leadership programs at Harvard Business School, MIT, and Oxford University.

As President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Information Security Society of Africa, Nigeria (ISSAN), and a member of the Governing Council of the Fintech Association of Nigeria, Dr. Isiavwe’s expertise will play a crucial role in advancing NOVA’s technology-driven phygital model.

His appointment underscores the bank’s focus on digital transformation.

Chinwe Iloghalu joins as Executive Director for Corporate and Commercial Banking, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry.

Her expertise spans sectors such as energy, corporate, commercial, and digital banking. Holding an MSc in Media and Communications and an MBA, Chinwe is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA).

She has attended leadership and executive programs at Said Business School Oxford, Harvard Business School, and Wharton.

Chinwe’s role will be central to enhancing NOVA’s commercial banking rollout across key business development segments.

Her strong business drive and relationship management skills will drive the bank’s strategic intent to become a formidable player in the banking industry.
