On salary review:
Just as he reminded Federal Government to start early upward review of civil servants salary in order to avoild another headon collision with labour.
According to him, although the next review should be next three years but inview of the inflation whereby the salary of average civil servant has been reduced to peanuts money, with average salary earner in Nigeria has both immediate and external family to take care, government should have it on records the need for automated review of salary for Nigerian workers.
Still on Christmas period:
“It is true that Christmas season is period where most family members often have get-together with one another and with loved ones, however general public should restrict their movements because of insecurity situations around the country.
“People should also avoid night travelling and be careful of the kind of vehicles they take. If that travelling is not a must, then they should remain where they are.”
